We’re passionate about supporting your journey.

It all started with a porch…

A cozy porch with a cushioned seating area surrounded by plants, decorative pillows, a knitted blanket, and a pillow on the floor. House numbers 2412 and a small succulent garden are visible.

Before The Porch had a name—or even a clear configuration—Jenna and JT were hosting one another for real conversations about real life: walks around a park perimeter, lobby chats after networking events, and, when pandemic hit, a series of porch conversations.

On one such occasion, things had been especially heavy, questions circling around calling and energy and vocation: Was this the work? Where were the resources? How could it be possible to keep going?

Sitting porchside together on that day, there were no clear-cut answers or tidy solutions, but there was an undeniable sense of provision in shared solidarity—a quiet power in presence, as questions got reframed, problems began to downsize, and friendship deepened.

What had seemed insurmountable just hours earlier now seemed bearable—at least for a few more days.

From the start, The Porch has never been about silver bullets or water-tight solutions. Just earnest sisters offering authentic friendship and support, while staying open to a grace that’s bigger and wilder than our first-pass imagination.

Along the way, we began to notice many other women just like us—women carrying big questions, bravely leading or creating, often without much support, while quietly holding the demands of work and home.

Through conversation, a shared question began to surface: Could we build a space that would be genuinely supportive for women like us? A place that wouldn’t feel like one more thing to manage, but a gift of provision—something that might actually lighten the load.

The Porch grew out of those earnest questions and early experiments. And now, after focus groups and pilot runs, we’re beginning to believe it’s possible. The Porch has become a place where women bring their work, their hopes, their questions—and find friendship, perspective, and traction on the things that matter most. It’s an invitation into ease instead of pressure, a community designed to give rather than take, and a place for beauty, joy, and renewed energy—especially on the hardest days.

Meet JT

Jeanette Thomas grew up a Kansas farm kid and still carries a soft spot for wide-open spaces—both real and imagined. After early work with youth, families, and community organizations, she built a career guiding leaders, teams, and mission-driven organizations through seasons of growth, change, and complexity. Her work has spanned nonprofit leadership, global partnerships, philanthropy, coaching, and entrepreneurship, shaped by years of facilitating conversations that lead to clarity, momentum, and meaningful progress. Today, JT splits her time between coaching leaders and consulting in strategic communications.
